The portal provides situation reports, economic impact reports, forms for resource and information requests, transportation status reports, FEMA Leadership Map Book, communications status, power status, shelter information, and donor information.
It aims to help “connect the dots through situational awareness and information exchange with the private sector and builds on the approach outlined in NEMA’s Building Operational Public-Private Partnership Guide,” according to a press release.
Users are encouraged to register to receive push notifications when available and share the tool with partners. It is considered a “dynamic and evolving tool,” according to the press release.
“This portal puts into action the concept of operational public-private partnerships in a way not previously realized,” said Wendy Smith-Reeve, NEMA president and deputy director of the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs in the release. “We anticipate it will seamlessly transition from response to recovery and also be used for future events.”
