In order to improve workflow, many government agencies are automating using enterprise content management (ECM) software. Citizens interact with government in a variety of ways, and ECM captures the documentation of those exchanges. By efficiently managing content, documentation can be routed to appropriate personnel for simultaneous review and expedited response.
