What new security system is the TSA testing?

The problem with going through airport security is that everyone is slowed to the speed of the slowest person in line. But a new system now being tested by the Transportation Security Administration would allow travelers to put their bags into a honeycomb-shaped structure that scans their bags, allowing them to progress once the scan is complete — without waiting for another traveler.

The technology was tested at the 2014 World Cup, Disneyland Paris and the San Francisco 49ers Levi’s Stadium.
