The addition of Zipcars along TriMet MAX Lines (which run every 15 minutes or better most of the day, every day, according to TriMet) makes the service more accessible to the existing car-sharing community and encourages the use of public transportation by providing cost effective and convenient travel options for transit riders.

Given that the cost of renting a ZipCar is about $10 (or more) an hour, we're assuming TriMet sees this as something that can be used for errands and visits. Otherwise, it would be (a lot) cheaper to drive to work and park.
