The move comes about a year after Aptumo — the branding for the billing and CRM software created by Echo Managed Services — announced plans to expand in the U.S.
The deal comes as utilities not only strive to improve their billing systems but adopt other technologies.
California-based KloudGin, a field service and asset management platform, will help Aptumo provide to U.K. and U.S. water utilities what a statement described as “a 360 degree real-time view of customer interactions and service incidents, enhancing customer service across both front office and field services.”
Doing so, the statement added, will give those utilities “complete control” over processes and functions via a cloud-based, end-to-end service delivery tool. The companies said they intend to help their clients better meet rising demands for digital services.
