And artificial intelligence is so very in.
That’s the latest message from Aurigo, whose software helps the public sector and other industries with capital planning and construction management.
The Texas-based company has launched its Lumina platform, which uses AI to “amplify capabilities across its suite of products,” according to a statement.
The platform’s two main applications, Lumina GPT and Lumina Analytics, can perform such tasks as streamlining data and document searches, provide quick access to project resources, improve budgeting and scheduling accuracy and track potential variances in project timelines.
Lumina works with the company’s flagship product, the capital program management tool called Masterworks. Lumina uses natural language search, generative AI and machine learning, among other technologies.
The company says its newest product is meant to counter the difficulty of located data that is often fragmented — that is, siloed — across multiple files and systems. Such data fragmentation has become more of a problem with the rise of cloud and mobile technology, according to Aurigo’s sales pitch.
“This launch of our AI copilot for Aurigo Masterworks is a key step in our mission to enable smarter planning, better building and a brighter future,” said Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO and founder of Aurigo Software, in the statement.
Aurigo is anticipating more AI-centric expansion of the Lumina platform in the coming months. The company’s customers include transportation departments, water authorities, colleges and universities, and federal agencies.
