The new cohort brings CivStart’s portfolio up to 49. The companies selected for 2022 are:
- AI4Govt: Automation, APIs, data standards and proprietary connectors for gov tech as well as legal tech.
- Beam: Software to help government deliver cash assistance and benefits.
- Cloud Driven Solutions: Civic meeting management, including agendas, minutes recording and public transparency tools.
- Enpira: Energy management to help local governments and schools with sustainability and facility management projects.
- GridMatrix: Working to reduce congestion, accidents and carbon emissions on the roads using existing data.
- Kaizen Labs: Interfaces for resident-facing services such as parks and recreation, transit and community development.
- Polimorphic: Constituent relationship management built specifically for local government.
- Seam Social Labs: Analytics to derive insights from public feedback.
- The Equity Brain Trust: Software for managing, analyzing and improving diversity, equity and inclusion work.
- ThirdLine: Continuous risk assessment, auditing and monitoring for government using no-code audit analytics.
- ThruGreen: Traffic light management designed for legacy technology, allowing for reduction of wait times at red lights, emergency vehicle prioritization and multi-intersection coordination without upgrading roadside equipment.
- WeavAir: IoT sensors for airports measuring air quality, HVAC metrics and occupancy.
