Euna’s Newest Tool Focuses on the ‘Tasks’ of Procurement

Procurement is growing up, adopting AI technology and other features as public agencies seek to get more for their money. Euna’s newest feature seeks to centralize procurement while reducing compliance risk.

A new procurement tool from Euna Solutions focuses on the tasks involved in that vital government process.

The company says it has added a “Tasks” feature to its Euna Procurement offering — the latest move in an area of government technology that is increasingly adopting new technology while also attracting ongoing investor interest.

The idea behind the feature is to offer clients “a centralized task management system” that can streamline procurement and boost collaboration, according to a statement from Euna.

More specifically, users of this new offering can assign tasks to colleagues or suppliers; store documents, messages and updates within each task; set up automated alerts and reminders; keep audit logs for compliance; and perform procurement review and validation.

“Task management might seem like a small detail, but in best-of-breed public procurement software, it’s the difference between a smooth process and a stalled project,” said Mykola Konrad, chief product officer at Euna Solutions, in the statement. “Tasks ensures nothing falls through the cracks, reduces compliance risk and creates more collaborative supplier relationships, ultimately driving better outcomes for the communities our government customers serve.”

Euna has integrated its new Task tool into its sourcing and contracting modules, according to the statement.

The company, which sells technology focusing on such areas as budgeting, payment and special education, last month bought grant management provider AmpliFund, which has more than 220 customers in North America.

Euna says it has more than 3,400 customers.
