Each year, the Digital Counties Survey looks at how regional governments of all sizes are using technology to innovate and improve how they serve their constituents. Conducted by the Center for Digital Government*, this year's survey measured the tech goals and initiatives in counties across the country to highlight those who are offering the best examples of using IT to enhance public service.
This year, 60 counties were awarded for their focus on knowing when and how to introduce new tech, with an eye for putting the right tools in the right hands of the right people. From investing in predictive analytics and going mobile to opening data and increasing cybersecurity, these local governments are using IT for good.
