Elizabethtown College to Offer 1-Year Certification in AI and Ed Tech

Starting in May, a college in central Pennsylvania will offer a five-course,15-credit online program focused on emerging AI trends, online learning practices, and strategies to improve student engagement and outcomes.

(TNS) — A college in Lancaster County has launched an Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology Leadership Graduate Certificate.

The certificate will be offered through Elizabethtown College’sSchool for Graduate and Professional Studies. Classes begin on May 12.

“To prepare our future generations, educators must be at the forefront of innovation,” Marcy McCarty, Elizabethtown College Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies, said in a news release. “By embracing AI and technology, they can create dynamic, engaging, and personalized learning environments that inspire students to reach their full potential, utilize technology to problem-solve, and become responsible digital citizens.”

The five-course,15-credit online program can be completed in as little as one year and is tailored for professionals within K-12 education, educational technology, higher education, training and development, and interdisciplinary industries.

Participants will explore emerging AI trends, innovative online and blended learning practices, and strategies to enhance student engagement and outcomes.

The cost for the certificate is $525 a credit. For those wishing to pursue a master’s degree, credits earned through the certificate can be counted towards the school’s master of education in educational leadership.

The college is located at 1 Alpha Drive in Elizabethtown.
