As we look at the tough issues that present themselves to our nation today I worry that we are delaying the difficult choices that need to be made.

 

Strong political leadership is needed by "every" elected politician. This is not just the President's issue. Officials need to cast aside their thoughts of "how do I get reelected" in order to make the right decisions for America and future generations of Americans. Instead of "wringing the neck of the Golden Goose" to get one more golden egg we need to be thinking about what the right thing is to do. Postponing, delaying, and playing politics with our nation's future is not what leadership is about.

 

You see other nations, France, Greece, and Ireland facing up to the financial realities of today. We have yet to make that decision. We are doing what Winston Churchill said we'd do, trying everything else, deliberating, delaying, postponing...
