Around the globe, wildfire season never ends. With the Northern Hemisphere in winter, that means the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing summer.

One twist to this story is that arson is suspected because of simultaneous ignitions at four different points.
This is also the time of year when we see Australian wildfires become prominent in the news. None yet that have made international news, but their time may be coming.
