I am pleased to share the following information from Daniel Kilburn, the founder of Emergency Action Planning and EAP Workshop. He has put together the “Family Urban Disaster Planning Conversations” series to help people reunite with their loved ones and build everlasting relationships.
He understands what it takes to face danger. He has met more than one life-threatening event. This single father, grandfather and entrepreneur has experienced firsthand how challenging it can be. From that “oh jeez” moment, realizing something terrible is happening and knowing that he has not prepared, he knows the disappointment and frustration of letting his loved ones down.
So, determined to find a way to protect his loved ones, he started actively working on himself. He began to show up differently by getting clear in his communication and commitment to expressing his authenticity. Soon enough, he began to attract the information and people that would support his mission to protect his loved ones from the emergencies and disasters that will come crashing into their lives.
He decided to take on a research project to learn what other professionals, coaches and thought leaders are doing in disaster management planning to have a spectacular relationship with their families. His passion is to help other people find and keep a way to protect their loved ones.
This project has turned into an interview series where he interviews experts, including myself, on risk reduction, planning, response and recovery. The series is called “Family Urban Disaster Planning Conversations: Protecting Our Children One Parent at a Time.”
