Disaster and Technology Infograph

This is a pretty good infographic that summarizes some of the bigger disasters and also highlights new technologies that are being applied to help. It was created by Eastern Kentucky University and highlights the importance of technology in disaster relief. As the graphic shows, technology such as drones and ladar (a.k.a. lidar) image searching can drastically improve the response to natural disasters. The graphic shows what the future of disaster response looks like and how we will be able to better respond to floods, wildfires and earthquakes.
