The Mother of All Operations Centers

How about a wall 12' high and 350' long packed with display screens?

AT&T GNOC

I strongly believe that wall space in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is critical to preserve.  When we built our $30M facility that combined the 911 Center for the Sheriff's Office and the King County Emergency Coordination Center (ECC) I was the one arguing for no windows on the floor of the Operations Room.  Let it be used for display space for all types of information, electronic, white board, butcher paper, etc.

The AT&T Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) takes the cake when it comes to electronic displays.  A 12 foot high wall, 350 feet long packed with electronic display information.  See Government Technology's article Directing Traffic that gives you a sneak peak into what has to be one of the largest operations centers in the world.

And, I don't see any windows!
