“At a time when citizens expect more from their governments and a new generation of government leaders are searching for fresh ideas, these startups embody innovative uses of technology to solve some of the most complex public-sector challenges,” said e.Republic Chief Innovation Officer Dustin Haisler, one of the showcase judges.
Six of those companies were recognized as the overall winners for embodying innovative uses of technology to solve public-sector challenges. Among the finalists were:
Electo Analytics — A scalable public affairs software that empowers teams to connect the pieces needed to influence policy, all in one place.
ForceMetrics — Bringing 21st-century data innovations to 20th-century processes, empowering officers and public officials to make better, more informed decisions in the moment.
HData — Delivering streamlined compliance and business intelligence to the energy industry, automating processes for people who comply with regulations, enforce regulations and use regulatory data.
On this episode of ICYMI, Dustin and Joe are joined by Elizabeth Turner (Electo Analytics), Andre McGregor (ForceMetrics) and Hudson Hollister (HData) to discuss their companies’ solutions, their ideal agency customers and what has surprised them working with state and local agencies.
