Using Technology to Protect Responders and Residents — ICYMI

ForceMetrics co-founder and CEO Andre McGregor addresses the need for real-time, actionable insights into critical risks for first responders to make them safer and more effective.

ForceMetrics equips first responders with actionable data to help them make better-informed decisions, thus protecting both the public and the responders themselves. ICYMI first spoke with CEO and founder Andre McGregor back in 2022 after his company had been selected as one of the standout startups at that year’s State of Gov Tech event.

Since that time, the company was named to AWS’ first Gov Tech Accelerator cohortfocusing on justice and public safety, brought Chief Revenue Officer Tim Sadler on board and has raised $22 million from investors.

When discussing the gov tech market, we may tend to focus on either well-established companies or on startups without always recognizing the companies making the sometimes long and difficult journey in the middle.

On this episode of In Case You Missed It, we bring McGregor back to discuss the impetus for founding the company, the lessons learned along the way as a startup founder, his experience working with the public sector and his company’s plans for the infusion of capital and their next phase of growth.
