Clean air is a necessary staple of a healthy working environment, and Asus is aiming to make that easier to achieve. One of the company’s newest offerings is a computer monitor that can literally clear the air as you work.
The VU Air Ionizer monitor, which comes in three versions, has vents on the back that draw in and filter the surrounding air. Asus claims the monitor can remove 90 percent of airborne dust, pollen, allergens and other pollutants in just three hours. It is reportedly effective at a range of roughly 35 cubic feet.
The monitor comes in two Full HD models, 24 inches or 27 inches, or a curved 34-inch WQHD version. And for the sustainably-minded, the box that each version comes in can be repurposed into a number of desk organization tools, such as phone holders and laptop stands.
