Elon Musk has, once again, turned to the denizens of Twitter to help him make a big decision. Not long after buying the social platform and taking over as CEO, Musk posted a poll asking its users (who remain) if they thought he should step down from the role.
Musk said when he posted the poll on Sunday that he would abide by the results (it closed on Monday). Roughly 10 million respondents, 57.5 percent, voted that he should step down. Musk has yet to make an announcement regarding the results and whether he will honor them.
As of Sunday, however, he made it sound as if there weren’t any options for replacing him, tweeting that “No one wants the job who can actually keep Twitter alive. There is no successor.”
