Answer: Pagers.

Emojis on Twitter
If you’ve ever wanted the ability to communicate only with emojis, here’s your chance. Japanese company Sega is hoping to bring back the ’90s pager culture with its latest device that only communicates with emojis.

The small rectangular device is reminiscent of the original pagers and has a catalog of 1,100 different emojis. To pair with another friend’s device, you have to touch the ends of the device together. Then you’ll be able to send up to 10 emojis in a row to your friends’ devices. If 10 emojis isn’t enough to convey your message, you can try out the emoji lab feature that lets you combine two emojis into one.

The devices use Wi-Fi to communicate and come with fun-colored cases and beaded straps. They cost 7,150 yen (about $46) and are currently only available in Japan.
