Using a VPN is a good way to stay secure while navigating the Internet, but it’s apparently not a very popular practice in the U.S. The team at Proxyrack crunched the numbers recently to find out which countries had the most VPN users, and the U.S. came in 10th place with just 23.12 percent of the population having access to a VPN from 2021 to 2022.

Rounding out the top three were Singapore and Saudi Arabia at 74.5 percent and 51.4 percent, respectively. The study also found that Singapore and Saudi Arabia also have the best Internet availability in the world, with 99.7 percent of the population of the former having access to the Internet and 99.68 percent for the latter.
