Several months after the retirement of its former director, Oakland County, Mich., Information Technology Department has a new director in Michael Timm.
Timm was selected to head the IT department following the retirement of Ed Poisson in January. Most recently Timm has been serving as the director of business planning in the project business office for Meridian Health Plan.
The new director will begin in the position June 19. Poisson had served in the directorship since 2005.
