Self-Help Web Sites Assist Public With Legal Questions
Download forms, obtain information in several languages
According to a recent article in the Riverside, Calif., Press Enterprise courthouses in the area are going self-service through Web sites and computer access to legal forms and case files. Citizens download forms, information and more in English and Spanish, and self-help centers with computer access are coming soon to libraries. The state also has a new Web site in a number of languages that will help people who can't afford lawyers with basic questions about legal needs. A state court Web site is another resource, said the Press Enterprise.
